The purpose of this blog is to talk in-depth about societal issues of our modern world such as the loneliness crisis, masculine identity, and other issues in an open format. I do not claim to possess any solutions or permanent fixes for these problems. Rather, I wish to share alternative perspectives from anthropology, sociobiology, theology, and history to help identify possible causes and share treatments for these problems we face today. I am not a professional in any field related to these subjects nor do I have any credentials, so please understand that I am just sharing my thoughts and not handing out prescriptions.

Hello. If you're here you probably know me as Midwest from forums such as Agora's Road and other platforms. I'm a late 20's guy who started this blog in an attempt to figure some things out. After I spent several years trying to learn more about myself and attempting to improve my situation - I felt that writing would be the best thing to better help me understand not just myself, but other people.
